April Bowlby has been an American actor as well as model for a period of more than 20 years. She is most famous for her role as Kandi and Stacy Barrett, in Drop Dead Diva and Titans as well as Doom Patrol. April Michelle Bowlby (born April Michelle Bowlby) is an American actor best known for portraying Stacy Barrett in Drop Dead Diva and Kandi the popular TV sitcom Two and a Half Men. The modeling industry was her first profession before she moved into films and TV shows. After appearing as an additional in the series CSI: Crime Scene Investigation and single-episode roles in several different shows, her first role on television was in CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. Then, she was offered the part as Kandi in the TV show Two and a Half Men. Bowlby gained international recognition with her Stacy Barrett role in Drop Dead Diva. She played the regular role of Elastigirl/Rita Farr in the American web series Titans. The actress will reprise her character in a spinoff of the Doom Patrol series. Bowlby has also been seen on TV in films like Sands of Oblivion, The Wrong Daughter as well as Sands of Oblivion 2. After her roles in The Slammin Salmon (which was her debut film) along with From Prada, to Nada she made her first appearance on the big screen in All Roads Lead Home. Bowlby was a student at East Union High School in Manteca the state of California. Her move to the area was in her early years. She was a ballet student and French at Moorpark College before deciding to explore a career in acting. She trained with Ivana Chaubbuck, and was offered an appearance on a TV series (Kandi, Two and a Half Men) several months following her Hollywood audition. Bowlby was a part of a variety of TV series including CSI with the role of Kaitlin Rackish in 2004's CSI: NY as Jenny Lee in 2005 Freddie as Sydney in 2005 Stacked with Jasmine in 2005 and How I Met Your Mother in the role of Meg in 2007. Recently, Bowlby played the part as Natasha as Natasha in All Roads Lead Home a film from 2007 about a twelve year old girl that loses her mother in an auto accident. Bowlby plays Mia on The Slammin Salmon, a comedy film to be released in the year 2008. She lives in Los Angeles. The blonde is natural and red with blue-green eyes. The couple isn't married and she doesn't have children.
