April Bowlby, an American model and actress from the United States. She has portrayed Kandi as part of The CBS comedy Two and a Half Men, Stacy Barrett in Drop Dead Diva and Rita Farr in Titans and Doom Patrol. April Michelle Bowlby, an American actress best known for her portrayal of Stacy Barrett on the American comedy drama Drop Dead Diva and Kandi from the sitcom Two and a Half Men. The model began her career in modeling then moved on to films and TV. For CSI: Crime Scene Investigation her debut TV role was an episode as a background extra. After a few years, her breakthrough role as Kandi was a part of Two and a Half Men. The role she played as Stacy Barrett in the popular TV show Drop Dead Diva has earned Bowlby fame all over the world. She was the main character as Rita Farr/Elastigirl for the American web-based show Titans. A spin-off of the series Doom Patrol will see her reprising the character. Bowlby has also been seen on TV in films such as Sands of Oblivion, The Wrong Daughter and Sands of Oblivion 2. Her big screen debut came with the feature movie All Roads Lead Home and afterwards appeared in several other films such as The Slammin Salmon and From Prada to Nada. Following her studies in drama under Ivana Chubb, she got the lead part (Kandi on Two and a Half Men), within months of her Hollywood debut. Bowlby has appeared on many TV series like CSI as Kaitlin Rackish in 2004 CSI: NY in 2005 as Jenny Lee in 2005 Freddie as Sydney in 2005. She also appeared on Stacked with Jasmine in 2005, and How I Met Your Mother as Meg in the year 2007. Bowlby was Natasha last year on All Roads Lead Home, a movie from 2007 about a girl aged 12 who has lost her mother in a car accident. Bowlby is set to play Mia, as well in The Slammin Salmon (2008). She lives in Los Angeles. Her natural hair is red and blue eyes. She is a single woman with no children.
