Coleman was born in Blackpool Lancashire. Coleman attended Arnold School in Blackpool where she was head of the school and received straight As on her A-levels. In a discussion about her appearance on Emmerdale Coleman confessed she was regretting that she did not go to university. Coleman joined a theater company, In Yer Space while in school. They performed during the Edinburgh Festival for the play Crystal Clear. She was awarded an award for her performance while the play was also highly praised. Steven Moffat of Doctor Who announced in a news conference held on the 21st march 2012, that Coleman would be replacing Karen Gillan after she and Arthur Darvill had left. Moffat claimed that he selected Coleman to be the companion because she could work best with Smith. In addition, Moffat noted that she was more talkative than Smith. Eva Larue..............................Eva LaRue is an American actor and model. Since 1987, she has worked in film and television projects. The most popular of her work is her television work rather than the film industry. Eva is most well-known for her role on the show Dr. Maria Santos on All My Children as well as detective Natalia Boa Vistas in CSI Miami. The latter even garnered her two 'Daytime Emmy' nominations as well as gave her the chance to experiment with her talents in music. In addition to being an actor, Eva is a philanthropist and an entrepreneur. She has been married three times who has a daughter from her second partner.
