Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise, an American actress and writer best known for portraying Ginger Grant on the television show Gilligan's Island during the 1960s. Bettle's Two's Company musical was the first production she acted in during her stage debut. In the 1950s, she acted as a stage artist in several Broadway shows before gaining her way into national fame with the release of Li'l Abner' in 1957. The album was released by her Too Late for Tina in the same year. Louise was first seen on the screen in Hollywood in God's Little Acre, a film that was released in the year 1958. She performed the role of Griselda who was a character from the movie. In this time she was a student at the Actors Studio of New York. Lee Strasberg was her tutor. She signed on with CBS in 1964, to play Ginger Grant. Louise was able to balance her acting career with ease in between Broadway television and Hollywood acting in somber roles contrasted to her perception of a glamour doll. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. SG-1 as well as Helen Magnus, but in the past few years has earned a reputation as a director on several popular TV shows like Supernatural. Born on August 28, 1965 in Essex. As a young girl, 3years old, her family moved her to Toronto where she lived her childhood. Samantha Carter settled in Vancouver in Canada following her choice to play the lead.
